Nichiryo Co. Ltd. of Japan has appointed Avon Pharmo Chem (Pvt) Ltd as the Exclusive Distributor of Nichiryo in Sri Lankan Market from 2017. Nichiryo, famous for their high quality micropipettes, has had a few distributors so far in Sri Lanka and Avon has always been the best performing and competent agent to be qualified to become exclusive agent within shortest possible time.
Nichiryo brand had been a popular brand in Sri Lankan life science community and had lost the market as there was no a good agent to deliver the proper service. Since inception, Avon has offered a better service for the micropipette users in the country. That included free pipette clinics, seminars, workshops and repairs and services of old micropipettes. Nichiryo micropipettes are of high quality durable and trustworthy and can be serviced and repaired with minimal effort once trained. Avon staff is well trained to do this service to the users with small tools and consumables. 
General manager of Avon Pharmo Chem, Mr. Dilip Fernando says, “Avon being the only supplier of Nichiryo products to Sri Lanka, will ensure the customer gets more relevant product information for better informed purchasing decisions. And also we wish to offer some advanced products like Premium chemical resistant ones under Nichiryo brand which were not well marketed due to market channel forces.” According to Mr. Dilip, Avon is to announce a pipette clinics program for all Nichiryo customers in near future to mark this agreement.
